How to pixel?
Sprites are tiny images which you can make as adoptions or smilies for on you site. I use Pro Motion to pixel and if you can spare a few dollars i can recommend you this program (^__^)
- Open a painting program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. Open a new document and set the width to 29 and height to 22 (select background contents: transparent in Photoshop), click OK.
- Use your zoom tool to zoom in a couple of times, unless you've got very good eyes ;-)
- If you use Photoshop, choose from the menu on top Image > Mode > Indexed colour. This will allow you to create smooth pixels.
- It's time to create something. For pixeling you'll need a brush in a 1 pixel size, select it from the menu.
- Now you can draw a face with the brush and line tool, i usually use a darker colour for the outlines. You can mirror the left or right part of the face to save some time.

- Choose a colour to fill the face with, using the fill tool.
- Choose a darker colour to pixel the shading and accents inside the borders of the face.
- Save your image as a .gif file, your sprite is ready to be used on a website!
