Make your own Favicon

Favicon (pronounced fav-eye-con) is short for 'Favorites Icon'. Maybe you've noticed the tiny kao-ani which appears in the list of you favourites. It's very simple to make one.

  1. The size of the pixel must be 16x16 pixels. For instance, when you want to make Oopsy Daisy you open a new file in 16x16 pixels and start to pixel:
  2. You have to name it favicon.ico and copy it into the root directory - the main directory that holds your HTML pages.
