Chubby Penguin

My hubby likes to create cute and funky characters. His biggest dream is that they will have a life of their own, hopefully one day in toy stores.

I remember the day that his first protype called Prop arrived at our home. It was such a weird experience to held a creature that would normally only exist on screen. Afterwards, thanks to Andy Woo from Crazy Label, Seamour Sheep and his buddy Marty Mole were released. Needless to say that these vinyl toys have taken over part of our house

Because we still have some room left and want the whole world to be taken over by cute toys you can vote for your favourite characters. You might recognize the penguin and cuddlefish as being part of kao-ani in the past. Thank you in advance for watching and/or voting .

Welcome to kao-ani . This is the first post of my fresh blog, I hope you’ll like the new lay-out . It’s inspired by cake, Twin Peaks (TV series from the late 80’s that heavily promoted coffee ) and the sweet blog that Gisele Jaquenod has got.

This year around my new’s year resolution is to blog more often, even if this means that I’ll have to bore you with my personal life Apart from cuteness I also want to blog about webdesign and media a bit. Next to this I hope to add more goodies, especially icons.
