Some people asked about the toy pictured on the Christmas picture. He’s called Baby Treeson. Sadly they’re hard to come by these days, but you might want to look at the new series called Treeson & Other Stories.

Well it’s the end of 2009, I guess you’ve already noticed . So it’s time for a little retrospective. Actually not many exciting things have happened in my personal life this year, which I’m grateful for. No news is good news .

So this is the very non exciting stuff that has happened in 2009:

• One of my clients appeared on the news, during the item they showed the brochure that I had designed *proud*
• I started twittering this year
• We got a new cat named Catootje, she and Kuchi are getting along fine these days
• My grandmother passed away at the age of 95
• We rebuild our backyard and even grew our own baby tomatoes
• I got my first SLR camera this summer
• Discovered deco-den and finally getting along with my sewing machine
• Despite the economical crisis I’ve worked more than before

Also my ex boyfriend made his appearance on the “X-Factor”, although he didn’t make it through the auditions and my hubby’s ex girlfriend was on a few shows of “Take me Out” - lol.
Now on to the good resolutions!

• Working less hours. Right now I have so little personal time and you only live once
• Repainting some of the walls in our house
• Going on a trip to Tokyo
• Spending more time doing creative things -other than webdesign- maybe I’ll start an Etsy shop
• Spending more time on this site and hopefully create a free Wordpress theme
• Getting some more exercise

Before I start this story please take notion of a little tutorial I made about how to organize and cutify your Gmail and iGoogle. Oh and on a totally random note; the new iPhone has finally been announced! This is so going to be my new phone everything. It has even got a compass -no idea why I would need that - and can tell you what song is playing. Recognizing songs once was my job, really. I wonder when the iPhone will be able to build websites…

Now on to the site of the Month. This time it’s Bibi’s turn. I’ve been admiring her work for years. She’s not only a great character designer, but also creates the best pixels. Last but not least she’s responsible for my lucky poo -unchikun- facination. Just click on “work” and navigate with the menu on the right to go through her illustrations.

One last thing that I want to point out are her smilies. They’re now available for download .

Thanks to the wonderful service of Lycos webhosting I just found out that they will end their hosting service in about… 30 minutes (-_-). I had no idea it would end this soon. One of my domains, which also contains the pixel clocks and calendars will go down with the sinking ship.

On the bright side they will offer a refund of my remaining hosting money, but I wonder if I’ll see it within the next month or even this lifetime. Just to be sure I’ve saved these bills so I can rub their noses in it if I have to

For now please have a little patience, I will try to relocate the clocks and calendars a.s.a.p!
