Up and running

Welcome back! This will be a short note to let you know that I’m back 
The site is not a 100% finished, but with all the deadlines in sight it could easily take a few more weeks. Because of this and the fact that I was already blogging here I decided to upload the updated content and layout anyhow. I hope you digg it ^_^
Working with the new version of Wordpress (2.7 that is) was a breeze. But I can’t say the same from moving this content from a subfolder to the root (O_o). I made two mistakes, and let this be a lesson to you ;
- Adjusting the settings in the admin in the folder when I had already moved the content… Of course, the admin had also been moved…
- The .htaccess file wasn’t moved along, because this fellow is playing hide and seek (read:invisible) on my server. Now the permalinks weren’t working. But thanks to a Google search and my last working braincells, it’s up again.
- The uploaded images through Wordpress also didn’t show up, because they linked to the old directory. Even though I updated the setting I had to manually adjust the image links, but thankfully it weren’t many.

I wish I could make WP themes like this one, but I’m not talented like you are. ;) I also wish I had money to offer you, so I could buy a theme but, well, that just isn’t the case.
PS - I wanted to reply to your neighbors post, but I couldn’t. I just wanted to say that I know how you feel, as our former neighbor died and someone else bought his house and business and turned it from a once nice, friendly produce stand to a car lot. *cry*
